Re: Opinions Spirt Airlines

Several years ago, my wife was returning from a "grandkids trip" to Chicago. She had bought her tickets well in advance but when she got to the airport she found out that Spirit had canceled her flight because they hadn't sold enough seats. No phone call or notification of any kind. They j...

Most people don't realize that computers make very fast, very accurate mistakes. Dr. Seuss had an opinion on the matter... Here's an easy game to play. Here's an easy thing to say: If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort, And the address of t...

Re: Welcome back, round 2.

Ok gents, that was fun again. Our provider just changed his connexion (went to a new provider) and for some reason our subnet could not reach the outside. It is all fixed now and everything is fine. Nothing was lost, nothing was corrupted. Go on talking amongst yourselves. FYI, no one tried to cont...

Re: Dummies...err I Mean "Concerned Citizens" Take Note!

I saw a nice, shiny, chrome plated Jimenez on the table... another happy customer. In the handgun box was a S&W 642 with nice wood stocks, an NAA mini revolver & maybe an old .32 H&R or I&J breaktop, but couldn't be sure as it was partially covered up. Seems to me, if you want to pro...

Re: Adam Putnam lost my vote. Also FL GOP Chair is shocked at the anger towards the Party.

Yeah, everyone had to show a valid ID (Driver's Lic. whatever) to vote. There was an elderly lady ahead of us in line who was raising a big stink because they wouldn't let her vote with her NY Driver's License. When she finally left in a huff, most of us applauded the Poll worker who stood firmly by...

Re: GA Democratic Candidate: "Guns are bad!" Shoots lover...

And scarily enough, most "anti gun" folks seem to be of that type. The ones that know they are capable of horrible things and can't be trusted with a gun, a knife, a stick, a rope or anything else. And they simply assume everyone else is as fooked up as they are. They honestly can't imagi...

Re: Who carries appendix

I occasionally carry a Kel Tec P380 or PF9 AIWB in a Remora holster. To reholster it, you remove the holster from your belt, put the gun back in it, then slide the whole assembly back where it was. Trigger is protected at all times so no surprises. Lately though, I've been carrying OWB in an "O...
