Brett Taylor of Tallahassee, FL, owner of a local Lindy's Chicken restaurant, was arrested last week by the Leon County Sheriff's Office on Saturday over an incident that occurred in a McDonald's drive-thru. A video showed him pulling a handgun and threatening employees after arguing over slow service.
The incident was recorded by a customer in the drive thru lane. Taylor yells that someone tried to fight with him over a hamburger. He draws a gun and says, "Come out here." When someone can be heard threatening to call the police, Taylor says, "Call them, I want them to be here for this."Investigators say on Aug. 1, Taylor was brandishing the gun toward a 17-year-old employee who was slow to bring him a refund. The service was slow at about 10 p.m. when Taylor entered the drive-thru.
The McDonald's is short-staffed, employees told Leon County Sheriff's deputies, and customers often complain about the slow service.

Taylor pulled the gun, according to investigators, and pointed it toward the door of McDonald's where at least four employees were standing. A child inside the burger joint can be seen being ushered away to a car in the parking lot during the altercation.
Taylor now faces multiple charges including four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, cruelty toward children, and improperly exhibiting a firearm. Two of those are felony charges under Florida Law.
