The problem isn't the bitcoins. Buy them and spend them, they work just as well as a prepaid card. The problem is idiots investing money they can't afford to lose.
Bitcoin is money, not an investment.

Good, now maybe video cards can go back down to sane prices again.
My father always taught me to never invest in more than you can afford to lose. The Bitcoin investment is/was a crazy notion as an investment.
It isn't money unless there's a government with laws, armies and special agents forcing you to take it for "All debts public and private."
It is NOTHING! It's only worth what the next person who wants the magic beans is willing to pay.
The 20 series got announced, so I will finally be able to get a 1070. There's like nothing out there that actually uses ray tracing and I don't do VR so it doesn't make sense to get the latest and greatest to me. Hoping by winter that the 10 series is finally a stable lower price.Dr. Dickie wrote: ↑Wed Aug 22, 2018 5:59 am Good, now maybe video cards can go back down to sane prices again.
