Yet they will. Ever look at the pro gun protest pics? Majority are fat ass camo wearing red necks.

Desantis and the rest of the republican rats in Tally aren't gonna align themselves with that representation. Ever.

Firearms in the hands of citizens are paramount and prerequisite to liberty. Without firearms, we’re just subjects of the state.

I understand your point but the fact is that we already have a huge amount of firearms and ammunition in the hands of private citizens in this country. It isn't helping right now because it's the wrong tool for the job. People who love freedom and equality need to dominate in fields like politics, legislation and cultural values. Some seriously evil-minded people are driving a malevolent narrative on a national scale right now because they've completely infiltrated the educational institutions, mainstream media, corporate management, the Democratic party and so on. RKBA is an important fundamental right in a free society but guns aren't going to fix this and with the fall of several free states we've seen that they don't prevent it either. As always we need the right tools for the job.

This is a little tangential too but the meme kind of misses the mark. Socialism is an economic system, all command economies have inherent flaws that make them less efficient than market economies and they necessarily require unreasonable restrictions on individual liberty but what we're really struggling against isn't an economic system it's an ideology and while it can be labelled in different ways it all really traces back to Marxism. Some people will call it postmodern neo-Marxism, whatever, it's still Marxism. If you swap "socialism" for "Marxism" you make a better point and will more easily reach a wider audience. There's every reason to believe economic systems will continue to evolve as our technology advances and our needs change so getting bogged down in economic debates is just chasing down a rabbit hole. The issue at hand is values, ideology. No matter what economic system we're operating under we need to respect each other's rights, treat each other with dignity, be equal under the law, etc.
