Need to bring this up again
I just a newspiece come up that Desantis said he would gladly sign a Constitutional carry bill if it came before his desk.
So where do we stand on this, who else we need to keep pushing to get this done?
I can't link the story can someone give me an assist on this?

“Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance.”
This link explains it all. You have to understand the political game and lies politicians tell to get elected.
I have no doubt DeSantis would sign if it was passed.

Correct. I would love for DeSantis to sign it if it came to his desk. I hope it will, but I have some concerns. First, I don't know if the FL Legislature will get it there, without some sort of "reparation" to appease "The Rodent" and the FRF. For example, In Florida, "no gun" signs currently do not have the force of law. Expect that to change if they pass Constitutional Carry, here, as it has changed in Texas. They always had the force of law, there, but now there are even more signs (30.05 now).Chigger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:30 am This link explains it all. If Gov. DeSantis is serious about his support for 2A, I would hope he focuses on the following (in no particular order):
1) Elimination/reduction of ERPOs (Red Flag Laws). IMHO, as currently written, they are a violation of the 5th and 14th amendments (Due process
clauses)
2) OC - Or a clarification of the "brandishing' laws that eliminate the "discretion" given to LEOs as to what constitutes "Brandishing"
3) Elimination of "Civil Asset Forfeiture" policies and procedures especially when the subject is not being arrested or charged with an offense.
If being arrested, seize only the property directly related to the alleged charge, and nothing else.
4) Potentially, some sort of 2A sanctuary against federal laws or compact with other states.
This is where I hope his focus will turn.
