Gun control does not mean repealing the Second Amendment. It should not be a political argument because it is a matter of life and death for so many Americans no matter their political affiliation. The number of mass shootings is astronomical!
Why does anyone need to have an assault weapon such as an AR-15? They are nothing but murdering machines that can kill many people in mere minutes and they serve no purpose for hunting because nothing would be left of the animal.
How many more innocent people must die before our elected officials do one single thing to ensure the safety of their fellow Americans? Background checks and licensing guns would be a start at least. Licensing is required for driving, hunting and many other activities. Doing nothing at all is completely unacceptable! Without any control on gun ownership many more people will die needlessly.
