Well, the rumor is true, a G17 barrel fits perfectly in a 1st generation Sigma.

The SW9F shoots fine. I did some accuracy drills on the head and small top left target, then went and did two and three shot rapid fire self-defense drills. Took a few tries to get used to the longer reset, but it is pretty much like shooting a spongy DA revolver trigger.

I had the RSO shoot it too. He's younger than the gun. He had a tricked out G19X with all the modern features. He was surprised at the trigger being what it was, but even he said, it wasn't bad.

Metal frame doesn’t mean steel.

It was either CCF or Lone Wolf, but one of them made frames out of Aluminum, Steel, and Titanium.

Bought my first 9 mm guess 1982? It was a sigma and it wouldn’t shoot. Returned and got a Glock 23.
Had have 2-3 sigmas after that and no problems.SW copied glock design and had to change something internal.

GLOCK wasn't even stateside in 1982 and .40 S&W wouldn't be invented for another 7 years. Sigma didn't exist until 1994.
