FL Hearing for Constitutional Carry on Feb 20 & Feb 21. BE LOUDER THAN THE LAST HEARING!

Post by Miami_JBT »

UPDATE: IT IS NOW A TWO-DAY BACK-TO-BACK EVENT OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Again, the MORE FOLKS THAT SHOW UP AND TELL LAWMAKERS WE WANT OPEN CARRY ADDED TO THE BILL, THE BETTER CHANCE WE'LL HAVE AT GETTING IT

IF YOU SIT ON SIDELINES AND DON'T GET INTO THE GAME, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW IF YOU WIN OR LOSE.

SO GET IN THE GAME!

I NEED YOU AT THE CAPITOL ON FEBRUARY 20 AT 3PM AND ON FEBRUARY 21 AT 8AM TO FIGHT FOR A REAL CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY BILL!

Senate Criminal Justice Committee Feb. 20 Agenda

The Senate's Criminal Justice Committee is scheduled to hear SB 150 on February 20, 2023 at 3PM at the State Capitol. SB 150 is Senate version of the incomplete Constitutional Carry bill that was foisted upon us by RINOs. Why is SB 150 also incomplete? Simple, the bill doesn't have Open Carry!

When: Monday, February 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Where: Senate's Criminal Justice Committee
Location: Pat Thomas Committee Room (Room 412 Knott Building), 400 Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399-1300
Contact: (850) 487-5192
CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING BILL: SB 150 by Collins - Public Safety

The Florida House also now has scheduled their version, HB 543, to have its second hearing in the Judiciary Committee at 8AM the next day. Tuesday February 21.

When: Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: House's Judiciary Committee
Location: Sumner Hall (Room 404 House Office Building), 400 Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399-1300
Contact: (850) 717-4850
CONSIDERATION OF THE FOLLOWING BILL: PCS for HB 543 - Public Safety

Gun Owners of America had a great turnout during the last Committee hearing in the House. Florida's gun owners were loud and proud in demanding Open Carry be added to the House version of the bill, HB 543.

Let's Rally for REAL Constitutional Carry!

Well, I need you to be even louder this go around!

I need you to be at the Capitol and speak to the Committees and tell them that you want Open Carry as part of this bill.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE FLORIDA SENATE:

Register to speak by clicking HERE. It takes you straight to the Senate's appearance form. Unlike the Florida House, you cannot register electronically for the Senate. You must print the appearance form and present it in person to the Senate Sergeant At Arms at the committee chambers.

Please complete the appearance form as instructed, print it, and present it in person to the Committee.

I KNOW THAT NOT EVERYONE CAN SHOW UP. BUT FOR THE HOUSE, YOU CAN SUBMIT ELECTRONIC COMMENTS TO THE COMMITTEE ON WHERE YOU STAND WITH THE BILL. HERE ARE THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO COMPLETE THE COMMENTARY:

First, register to as if you were going to speak by clicking HERE. It takes you straight to the House's appearance form.

Please complete as instructed, this process allows you to submit commentary.

Complete it as shown and your comment will be registered with the committee.

Here is the information that will help you attend this import hearing:

For parking, go to Kleman Plaza Parking Garage (306 S Duval St, Tallahassee, FL 32301). It is next to the State Capitol Complex.

Additionally, since this is a legislative meeting, per FL Statute Chapter 790, firearms cannot be carried into the committee chambers. If you wish to speak, you cannot have a firearm or weapon on your person.

I hope see you there. Remember, our national motto is "e pluribus unum," which is Latin for "out of many, one." Working together, speaking loudly with ONE voice, we can get a real Constitutional Carry bill with Open Carry as part of it passed.

Again, YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE APPEARING IF YOU WANT TO SPEAK!

P.S. Please share this alert to every Florida Patriot that you know and donate to Gun Owners of America.
