Term limits are all I have to say about Judd.
Everybody's got a plan until they get hit.
Just don't get between Judd and a camera.

I like Judd. But I dont understand whaen he says it is OK to shoot someone stealing your car (for example).
My understanding of FL law, does not allow deadly force to protect property. And the SA determines to prosecute or not, not the sheriff.
Maybe someone can clarify for me.

Judd has enforced more RFOs than Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Correct for the most part. An LEA can decide not to press charges (they don't arrest on probable cause nor they present a warrant). Nothing stops Polk County SO from not pursuing charges if a resident smokes check someone for breaking into a car.Dave P wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 5:49 pm I like Judd. And nothing stops the SAO from telling thr SO to pound sand and themselves pursue a warrant and arrest.
That happened up in the Panhandle. Guy was open carrying on July 4 while running for county commission or some such office. Local cops approached him and told him he couldn't open carry. He politely told them to piss up a rope. The local PD wrote a report but took no action. The Rpeublican SAO read the report and filed charges against the guy.
