11/16-24 thread 3-lug adapter

Post by George W »

I recently bought a S&W 1854 lever action. The barrel is threaded as 11/16-24. I want, but can't find a 3 lug .45 adapter in this thread size. Does anyone know of a source?

Has a .470 bore so should be good to go.

I bought this exact one thinking it would work. The thread and bore are fine, but the lug dimensions are 9mm size. My can is less stable than a bobble head doll.

What can are you using?

This one is marketed as a "45 3 lug" and they have your pitch. But maybe I'd call to verify that it is indeed 45 and not the same size as the 9mm lugs.

Octane45. I keep it set up as 3 lug to make life easy going from gun to gun. I primarily run it on my Henry X .45LC, but I recently picked up a S&W 1854 in .44 Mag and want to use it in that one too.

Thank you. I contacted Rugged and confirmed we're good. Gerbrand's price is pretty low, so I ordered from them.
