Parkland Timeline

I hate to, but I have to applaud the Scum Sentinel. They put together a great timeline graphic.

Don't know why I read that. It doesn't help me to be less of a grump.

De Santis needs to remove Isreal and Runcie ASAP !
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools !

I this proves one thing absolutely clearly is that each person is solely responsible for their immediate personal safety. All that any law enforcement are required to do is protect themselves. It is a individual mandate at the whims of each law enforcement if they help you or not. There will be no repercussions on them if they do not help you, your loved ones or anyone other than themselves or their chosen fellow officers or their loved ones.
This incident and the court documented exoneration of the cowards involved should be made known across the country. It should be thrown on every desk of every politician every time any gun control is even whispered of. It should be wrapped around a baseball bat and inserted in the solid waste exhaust port of any of those public servants who chose to ignore it.

Well put.

As a little anecdote. I used to live in NYC (born and grew up there). I used to carry because the crime was rampant. Of course, carry permits were available only to the rich and well connected or, in outer boroughs to those making the appropriate donations to the (precinct) Captains' Benevolent Association. Shows the seeds of corruption of the "may issue" based on "demonstrated need" principle. As with any liberal crap, it sounds good on paper, not so good in practice.

Made my decisions. If a police officer was around when I was attacked, I wouldn't have to draw my "friends" as he would take care of the perp; if a police officer wasn't around, I'd have to take care of myself. I tend to think of potential scenarios, formulate a plan, and keep it in mind to execute as circumstances dictate. As I've said in other threads, we'll all have to make a few decisions for the scenarios being discussed by the overlords.
Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a Single Star.
