Where are all our usual suspects who despite evidence to the contrary, still insist that they're raking in thousands every day?

I had a friend who told me in February he made $200,000 with bitcoins. When I asked him how to get the cash for his profits, there was no reply. GARY.

You click "Sell". Takes minutes. Funds appear in your bank account next business day.

Maybe I'm thick headed or something, but I still dont get the mining thing.

How do you pull something out of thin air, click sell and have real cash in your account the next day?

If that worked, he wouldn’t still be driving his 10 year old Prius. GARY.

The same way the Federal Reserve and the central banks create literally trillions of dollars out of thin air...they own the printing presses, whereas cryptocurrencies are a decentralized form of banking where individuals own the hardware that creates it.
There are articles and videos on the internet on how cryptocurrencies are created and given value. My question is how will the number and amounts of cryptocurrencies be controlled to prevent inflation, which has reduced the purchasing power of the dollar by 96% since the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913.

It does work, actually. But you have to provide identity and bank info because of the IRS and anti-money laundering laws. Some people don't wanna do that for obvious reasons.

It does work. I did it. Whether he did or not is the question.

As zeebaron stated, my friend would have to report the earnings to the IRS. Since he insists on living under the radar, that must be his problem. GARY.
