So coming full circle and now they are saying we do need resources to handle societies crazy, evil, or just plain stupid people. Hmm, maybe those institutions were not a bad idea after all.

Funny how they seem to forget that they are the ones that pushed to abolish such places. Now they are on the first steps to going back to them.

Again it is not the new guy in office that is the problem. It is the people that have been there for decades with the same old tactics and ideas. If you think a single elected official gives a rats behind about you I have some bad news for you.

The people I feel most for are the majority black people in predominantly black populated areas saying the stores they depend on to survive have been burned to the ground and with no buses now running they have no way to obtain essentials

If black lives matter why don't those black lives matter to black looters and rioters stealing and destroying as an opportunity?

Because many of these so called protesters don't care about real positive change they will just as quickly kill a black man to steal his stuff as anyone else

Looters are racist, period

Yeah, the sad part is these states could have control it better but they didn't, and that gives them the idea hey we can do whatever we want mindset which has been going on for a while now. The states and the ideas that have come out of all this like defending the police is mind-blowing I'm at a loss for words and I think as Americans. We have lost so much when history is being destroyed and taken down this is already gotten way out fo control when will it ever stop I see a much darker American coming if this keeps up.

Yep... I'm still glad I expect to already be dead when the second American Civil War starts.

Me neither, our safety is our own personal responsibility.

As far as this statement goes goes and the dumbass emoji posted with it. It was not funny.
Yes, we definitively need more police, they always do such a great job watching the violence and looting from afar. The police did what their LIBERAL SOCIALIST LEADERS ordered them to do. Trust me if L.E. was not barred from doing their job by these leaders. They could have ended these riots real quick.
We also need more firemen to watch cities burn in their shiny trucks while safely parked behind police lines away from the fires. Responseto this stupid ass remark below

More worthless low IQ government parasites is definitively going to solve this
I see we have another dumbass liberal pretending to be smart and funny. First off we firefighters and paramedics are not armed nor trained in riot control. If your ass was in that riot and hurt. If you think for one moment I'd endanger my crew to save your ass. You be F'ed.

Our jobs are to save lifes not become part of the problem. But keep saying stupid shit. You'll go along way in life. FRS only responds after scene is secure and it's safe to do so. So F yes we will sit in our nice shiny trucks. Until it's safe to fight fire without being hurt, shot or killed by a bunch of mindless asshole. It's people like you that post crap like that who are the problem.

We are not your saviors. You and people like your mind set are your own worst enemies. I'm not sacrificing my life for fools, idoits or criminals. Property can be replaced, rebuilt. A human life cannot be replaced.

I sure wish I could write like Firemedic, But since I agree with everything he writes, except for his blanket apology to everyone, which I thought was unnecessary. I'm lucky I can write 100 words to express my opinion on some of the things posted here. Other than the nut case about firefighters sitting in our shinny fire trucks, I pretty much agree with most of the other members. Firemedic got that answer right. How true the time WILL come, and we had better be ready, I am.

I must be older than most of you ...I remember the Chicago 1968 riots DNC, Watts riots 1965 in LA, the 1967 Buffalo riot was one of 159 race riots that swept cities in the United States during the "Long Hot Summer of 1967". This riot occurred on the East Side of Buffalo, New York, from June 26 to July 1, 1967, and the Newark riots 1969, the Philadelphia & Baltimore riots 1967-8 We were all asking the same things we are now, and making the same statements.

Learned from being married to an accountant for over 30 years and explaining why I bought this gun or that ammo. Once many years ago. We agreed not to use charge cards unless it was an emergency.

Something happened don't remember what. I bought 2k of ammo. Back then it was only 99.00 per k she got the bill. She ask me. Honey what do you consider an emergency. I said not having enough ammo. She laughed and said I just wanted to make sure what you considered an emergency or something like that

We now have our own credit cards and bank accts. ;) but I some how got stuck paying the bills :? Haven't quite figured that one out yet. :?:
