He can go to WU and send the cash to you,he turns the cash over to the WU where ever he is,you go to WU and retrieve said money.

One possibility, but I'll go with having the son bring cash: no cash, no sale.

I think that any other arrangement involving Western Union will end up in a "what had happened was.." hassle.

Straight deal or none.

I just told him it sold. Ends it in a simple way. I just had a bad feeling about the situation. He would have had to come to my house to pick it up. Too many things about it indicated potential problems. Yes, "What happened was, so I brought...."

On another note, what kind of convertible top are you selling?
Not the soft convertible top, but the hard top one installs in,say, winter. It's for a Mercedes sl500, 1998 and part of that series, aka, the R129 chassis.
