Just returned from Bass Pro and 9mm was 13.50 a box and for a box of 150 5.56 it was 75.00. Not bad prices and helluva lot better than Florida Gun Exchange.

You forgot to mention you can only buy 2 boxes of that 9MM but that is better than half price of most and 90% of people think 2 boxes is an arsenal

It is not uncommon for big chain stores to offer hot items at way less than market value to generate traffic. The idea is once you are in the store you are very likely to buy more than the sale item. This is called loss leader marketing. Now if you could buy a case of ammo at the advertised price it would be a different story.

Was at Shooters in Jacksonville yesterday and they wanted $70 for a box of Winchester .380acp ammo.
On the plus side, you could buy a box of 100 for a mere $140.
