Get on your knees, thank the Lord for His intervention and blessing because you, sir, were spared something awful.
Go buy another rifle... heck go buy a hundred rifles. (as someone here said, keep your nose clean, you have been snatched from the fire... you would have been swallowed alive in prison. You are a most fortunate young man... and THAT is an understatement)
Forget the rifle... it's meaningless. Buy a dozen to replace it.
