Not all of us equate morals with "Christian Values". It doesn't take one to have the other. I equate the situation to the militarization of police. They've been changed from being civilian Peace Officers to paramilitary forces.JackieChan wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 3:22 pm Most of the good guys have been forced out, so now it's just an echo chamber of assholes and I'm sure a few good guys that keep their mouth shut to keep themselves safe. I really feel that's what has happened with most organizations in this world. Lack of Christian values, greed and power are driving people without any moral compass and the shit heels are rising to the top.

Yeah, that's like a good example of lacking Christian values.
I didn't say Christian values must exist for a person to have morals.
Not much scarier than a bunch of super smart atheists knowing they are the most supreme being.

I'm my experience atheists are worst than Bible thumping lunatics. At the very mention or any sign of religion turns atheists into crazed blood shot eyed lunatics, you can't say God in public. Your violating my right to not hear that word evil word. It's killing me everything you say ahhhhhh .......nuts jobsJackieChan wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 7:16 pm Yeah, that's like a good example of lacking Christian values.

Not all atheists are like that mind you but alot of them are. Just go to a certain site I will not mention and post the word God and watch what happens..Sht show from the mere mention about anything religious happens.
They say you can't say that it has no reference to this post. You religious nuts and your make believe God. The attacks can get pretty personal.
Religious Americans have zero rights to express anything linked to religion outside of a closet as far as a lot of atheists are concerned. But by God they can push homosexuality, cult activities and all manor of depravity and they'll get off on it like a rabid dog and you better not speak out against or you have some sort of phobia. But GOD and they start screaming like they are being burned at the cross and it's so fun to listen to them cry like little babies and report you as a troll or posting to illicit a negative response.
Not saying religion is the answer. But I see alot of atrocities today because of the lack of any religious values. Hell for that matter any values period.

By no means am I an atheist. However, I have a huge issue whenever people invoke the belief in God as a qualifier to things. Not only does it cheapen their faith, it taints whatever kind of endorsement it was meant to convey. A person can be honest, moral, and humble yet not be religious in the least. A religious person can be a lying, evil, deceiving piece of shit.
Religion is the greatest millstone ever hung around humanity's neck.

It's only a millstone if you make so. I'm not very religious at all. Yet are friends with a bishop who does AC work and tons of religious people. Not once have any of them brought up religion to me. It does not bother me in the least bit.
But atheists look down and despise people that are religious and even believe themselves superior over those that believe in a God. Plus are the ones that publicly bitch about the mere mention of it.
Religion is a millstone....not quite. Nuclear weapons to me are a millstone, man not being able to not go to war with each other is a millstone ect..ect..ect...
Religion is at the very bottom of millstone to me.
But that said there are really really bad people on both sides of the spectrum.

It's kinda like if we were ftf and just talking with each other. Which would be pretty cool
BTW I'm from Plant City. Married a former strawberry queen. I miss plant City sometimes. But it sure has changed. I remember out by PCHS when the only thing on St Rd 39 was a little building called South of the Border. Great tacos and of course the drive-in. Alot of great memories. Now it's starting to look like and get as crowded as Brandon and Valrico. I miss when it was a small town. I remember riding my bike with a .22 rifle to the old Ace hardware to buy ammo. No one batted an eye.
If you did that today you likely to get shot by the uh..... good guys
