There's probably a waiting list of lawyers willing to take his case pro-bono in order to make a name for themselves, so it will likely take years and make its way to at least the Florida Supreme Court on appeal. Only if its a guilty verdict. Jury may think: "How would I like to be knocked down by a big black guy" and that may overrule "I hate officious gun waving jackasses".
We'll see. Meanwhile back to trash talking each other and trying to justify whatever, even if it means you getting shot or sitting in jail.

A judgement means they can seize assets and garnish wages. If he doesn't end up in prison, he'll probably be literally paying for it the rest of his life.

He's going to get "Zimmied", but they're not going to be able to prove that he didn't fear for his life. All it takes is 1 juror to agree with him.
