I think this is the best takeaway of all. Thank goodness you didn't have your pistol in there.

I was flying out of Vegas after a knife show, and got pulled out of line by TSA. I didn’t bring a gun this time, knives were in my checked bag, so I wasn’t sure what was up.

After going through my bag, they couldn’t find what they were looking for, so the showed me the scan. It looked like 3 bullets stacked in a mag, then I realized I’m a moron.

There was a guy at the show selling magnets made from shell casings. I bought 3 .380 and tossed them in my bag and forgot about them.

Once he saw what they were, and checked to make sure I wouldn’t be going through security, he let me have them and sent me on my way. I was surprised he didn’t confiscate them, as they sure looked like small wadcutters.
