Taco Bell- So far, so good

This weekend I stopped by the local (and new) Taco Bell on 50 in Groveland after a trip to Tractor Supply. I connected to their Wifi to safe a bit of data, and the boards were blocked... Weapons... Oh the humanity!
So I hit the appeal button on their software and it says the site falls into two blocked categories, weapons and weapons sales...
I looked around briefly online and some folks have reported the same thing sparsely across the country. I looked at Taco Bell's site (and Yum brands) and found no pro or anti stance on a corporate level anywhere- they seem rather friendly to the local climate (some places OC allowed, some places no gun signs).
I emailed customer service... Today I got a call from the GM of the store. He was pleasant and started off by letting me know he shoots IDPA. He didn't realize they were blocking it and is waiting for a response back from corporate as to how to get it unblocked for his franchise locations.
Not a huge win, I know, but a bit of real grassroots activism paying off. Raising awareness of being discriminated against is causing real change.
