OK, well this was just getting interesting (to me) before the server dumped us, so let's try again...

Where do you see U.S. gun rights 20 years from now? I'm a doom and gloomer, which I think is general tendency on gun forums, so if you can make a plausible case for a better result, let's hear it.

Worse than England and Australia. The left has the voters in the future and wants total bans. They'll get them.

Firearms restrictions always get stricter.
There is no such thing as a PRO-GUN politician. Some may be less anti-gun than others but boiled down they all are afraid of armed populace.

Like I said before, Commiefornia like restrictions because the younger generation does not seem to value civil rights or individual liberty.

Unfortunately I agree with the above.

Shouldn't the Part B question to this poll be:

"At what level of restriction on gun ownership by those who will always enjoy the protection of armed security at your expense do you decide to say 'screw that' and disregard such laws altogether?"

(Rhetorical question - no response necessary.)

I'll add, at what point do we start pushing back?
That barn door has been left wide open.

I see a much reduced influence of the federal government.
Stronger states, with very different laws on most everything.
Maybe even with each having individual banking and currency.
Sooner or later the Feds insane spending and destruction of the money system will become obvious to even the truest believer.
It won't be fun, but necessary.
Maybe like the ancient Romans, hopefully without the civil wars.
