I have a friend who was unpacking some old boxes and found a few of these from a tour in Afghanistan. Any problems with the markings or with him either keeping or selling them?

Not at all. They are left over from the AWB ban. Due to them being HK, they are more valuable than standard mags, and some folks put a premium on the LE markings as well. Good mags, just heavy.
