I need to upgrade the script. Now it is urgent, but I cannot do what I want on this server, mostly because of DNS issues, so I need to move it somewhere else. I have a server here that I can use but it cannot be a definitive solution.

We need to get proper hosting and it costs money. Is there enough going around to do it, I don't know. At the same time, I don't really want to be managing money for the site. It is not my site to begin with.

Let me know if you guys have solutions.

In the meantime, continue reporting the bad topics. I get on them as soon as I can.

Im sure there are enough folks that will contribute if we need money for hosting, hell even $5 or $10 each was always enough in the past.....Let me know if you need me to shake some of these cheap SOB's down for you.

Maybe a donation/auction would help.

I'm sure I have a few little things I could put up, proceeds go to the "new server fund" or whatever.

Thing is that I don't want / can't be holding money for the site. I would have to open a Paypal account, but I don't have an address to give. So it is a mess just to start with.

you could try and see if this software supports a minimum number of posts before starting a new topic

as for donations, if you dont want to turn this into an LLC type of entity (extra expense), why not get a PO box and offer that up as a temporary solution if the forum needs upgrades and such. im sure yoyu would get some folks more than willing to send you a few bucks

Many of us have kicked in money in the past and would do again. So, if how to handle it gets worked out let us know.
I did realize this morning, I don't know how to report this stuff.

We will have to come up with a plan. I will see what i can get started from here.

I hope to be retired within a couple weeks and will have a lot more time. In the meantime keep reporting it as it happens and we will get to it as quick as we can.
