I think I tried one of your earlier "drills" and it was a good time.

After I figure this one out, I do believe I'll give it a go!

Had to read the description a few times to understand what the heck we're doing there.

Tom,

Finally found some free time to at least give your September challenge a try as it sounded different from most of those drill type things.

At first I went straight to my "drop mag" and reload schtick when the first malfunction happened. They're right, you do revert to your base training in an "emergency" (hehehe).

Once I talked myself through the procedure to just eject and continue to fire, the times started to come down.

Ran it 10 times, or at least until there didn't appear to be any quicker times available, to me.

10.43
9.63
9.02
8.37 (man, I'm smokin' now!)
9.31 (uh, back to reality)
8.43
8.59
8.63 (should have quit here)
9.01
8.75 (as good a place as any to stop for the evening!)

Thanks for the drill and I think I'll incorporate a good part of it in next week's IDPA match.
