Manual thumb safety conversion for the Sig P365

Added a thumb safety to my P365. Four parts were necessary; grip frame module with proper cut outs, the thumb safety (both sides), detent and detent spring. The conversion was straight-forward and didn't take a long time. Video on the conversion is in the modification section. I like it as I prefer a manual thumb safety on striker-fired pistols when possible.
Pictured with a TLR-6 light/laser combo and 12-round magazine.

Looks good. I'm thinking about doing it with an XL grip/standard 365 slide. I have the safety parts, just need an XL grip with cutouts unless I try to cut them myself.

You may have to cut the XL grip yourself, I've not seen the XL grip being offered with cut outs. I could be missing where they're offered but just haven't seen it (yet). If it isn't offered yet, it's only a matter of time. If you're good with a dremel though it would probably be quick work.

Updating this thread. The manual safety is doing great and no issues. Took a while to get the parts but I'm glad I did and made the mods.

If one looks closely on the frame module there appears to be a faint outline where the safety notch is located.

Makes sense. The P365 was designed from the beginning to use a manual safety even though they didn't come out with a MS model for a couple of years after introduction.
