I'm beginning to see and hear info that it is a felony to be wearing a mask while legally carrying a firearm. Can someone confirm or refute this for State of Florida regs?

False.
Statute indicates you cannot wear a face mask during the commission of a crime, or while intending to perpetuate a crime.
Do not believe everything you read on the Internet (or your neighbor, brother, co-worker reads on the Internet).
When you heard this from whomever, it didn't sound absurd to you? Millions of CCW holders instantly become felons??

Democratic mayors and governors just let hundreds of thousands of rioters demolish the country with no repercussions, while not wearing masks or social distancing. And now they want to lock us back down because they say a few people hanging around a bar or restaurant is causing a spike in virus, doesn't that sound absurd too?

I'm not personally chastising you...just preaching about all the BS on the Internet. I have a friend with an MD & MBA who sends me similar stuff all the time. I gave up trying to convince her to do further research.

Well, it all depends!
If you are part of the BLM militia, Antifa militia, then you are REQUIRED to ware a mask as part of your uniform. I think they have joined forces and are called the Brown Shirts now. Goose Stepping is required!

the creation of one law or regulation cannot force you to break another law...
ie: forced to wear a mask does not make you a criminal if you carry.
