That includes "music videos that taunt rival groups" and "photos of individuals brandishing firearms," according to a county summary.

Recruiting, hiring, training, equipping plus salary and benefits.
Yes, $200,00 per head does sound expensive, but that is what it costs in big cities now a days :>((

It isn't just straught pay.

Equipment, training, vehicles, uniforms, etc...

Training alone is a large chunk of change. Most police academies run around 4 months. Then the officers are not cleared to run call by themselves. The are ride along for other training for another 3 months. It’s very expensive to get new people in the job.
