I'm amazed he didn't do the "MAGA" ending on the speech. Maybe he's onto something!

2022 is going to be pivotal in terms of indicating if he'll run again. We'll see.

I really would like to see him in office one more time. However, I wonder if he would be more useful in the kingmaker position. We seem to have a very good lineup of possible candidates this time around.

He will be 78 in 2024 (the same as The Mummy in Chief now). Really, there is a time to move on--Trumpsters are going to have to learn to live without him at some point regardless. As the old saying goes, the graveyards are filled with indispensable men. I'll take DeSantis, thanks.

Not until he finishes his two full terms as FL Gov. We need him here. He can run in 2028.

That said, I have to consider how much resistance Pres. Trump will face in a potential 2nd term. I mean, there are just some people who simply don't like him. Would he be "impeached" 4-5 more times while in office? Will they try to get rid of him some other way? And, will that grind the govt. to a screeching halt? Like you say, there are plenty of others who can occupy that role. And while being President is one of Trump's strengths, I think he has even stronger ones. For example, he's one of the very few people with the kind of media/TV knowledge needed to be able to start his own Conservative OTA TV Broadcast network to compete directly with the "Lame Stream Media." It needs to be OTA Broadcast so the other powers cant' "deplatform" it. Or, at least if they try, they'll be totally exposed. We need our conservative message to get out to the "sheeples" in the same way the libs are using the MSM to get theirs out. Cable TV is just insufficient. We need our own OTA Broadcast Network, And Pres. Trump is the only person I can think of that can get that done.

I will say this--whether its 2024 or 2026, DeSantis will be gone as Governor soon enough himself (I don't find two years difference that significant). As part of his 2022 campaign he needs to groom a successor that has his blessing. As we have seen with the Florida Legislature, counting on the Florida GOP to get anything right is a big mistake. God only knows what candidate they would come up with (if it was up to them there would be no DeSantis--they wanted Adam Putnam).

The RPOF is grooming Wilton Simpson for the next Gubernatorial race after DeSantis is term limited. He's a piece of shit.

Not surprising, unfortunately.

What is Pam Bondi looking to do?

Or, what's your take on the current Lt. Gov (Jeanette Nuñez)? She might actually have to stand in for him if he runs in 2024, either on his own or as Trump's running mate?
