Joe "The Mummy" Biden reminds me of...

...this guy:
That's Paul von Hindenburg.
Now, unlike Biden, PvH had a tremendously distinguished military career. He was NOT a career politician, so let's be clear--he was a MUCH better patriot for his country than Biden has ever been for ours (notice how Biden tries to ride on his dead son's coattails for that). BUT...
PvH became President of Germany in 1925, at age 77 (Biden was elected at 77; 78 when sworn in). He was the last President of Weimar Germany. He most definitely was not a Nazi. But as he became a weaker and weaker old man, his ability to stand up to them faded as the crises facing his country multiplied. At the end of the day he opened the door to Hitler and then promptly died.
Biden spent most of his career (at least in the Senate) in the "middle of the road," at least by Democrat standards--and he got bashed by the left wing of his party for doing so when running for President. But now, in his advanced age, he has been largely captured by them. He is a weak, pathetic figure at this point. It really borders on elder abuse how he is propped up as "President."
I don't fear Joe Biden--he's a near-puppet at this point, and fading more and more each day. I fear those who control him, who want to fill the vacuum when he leaves the stage.
