So what will you say is the most cool to yourself item you own

A model 1910 Glisenti pistol that I am trying to get running. Love the semi-auto rifles, SVT40, Agb42, and Mas49/56. Always looking for neat stuff and the Lakeland Rifle & Pistol club shows.

Now that is neat, What is wrong with your Glisenti?? That is an exotic looking design.

It's missing the trigger spring and I can't get the firing pin to thread back into the striker. The threads on the firing pin are buggered up, I have ordered a 4x0.8 mm tap and die to see if that will fix it. My son is working on making a trigger spring from a Wolff assortment pak.

You know you make a great point about Wolff Springs. Where in the Sam hill would we be in the older gun world without Wolff springs. I almost take them for granted. One picks up and old gun and the springs are bad you think nothing of ordering a set from those guys. They usually have something and their prices are not that darn bad considering.

My son made a trigger spring, it suffers from light primer strikes. Tried to re-thread the firing pin with no luck, took it to Dow Arms, Bruce said he had seen a few of them over the years. Now to wait, he is always busy.
