All good here in Sarasota. Lots of debris but minimal damage. Folks just south of us got slammed. Haven't heard from friends in Boca Grande, Rotonda, Englewood and Venice yet.

We got lucky here in St Petersburg when it shifted and went south and east. Not much damage around. I'm afraid the folks down south of here caught the worst of this hurricane.

Really, really lucky ^exp here, thank the Lord. The storm shifted and we just had average rainfall, wind but no damage. Didn’t even lose power: Duke energy was cutting trees and working on lines for the past few months. Time and money well spent. Canal emptied, looked weird.

May God show His mercy to those poor folks further south.

All good here in Wesley Chapel. Just very small twigs/branches, nothing else. No loss of Power or Cable TV. There *was*, however, a brief outage of Internet access (1p -- 9p, yesterday). I tend to think it may have been shut down "deliberately" by Spectrum. Probably because more people where home and putting demands on it. I think they, sort of, "browned out" the internet to keep it from just crashing. And it couldn't have been anything "structural" (wires, cables) because Cable TV would have gone out with it. It didn't.

Good in Land O' Lakes. Just a rainy day with some wind. Took down most of the shutters today. Never lost power.

Prayers for our folks to the south. :!:

Brevard did well. I never lost power, removed bottom shutters this morning then the rest after the last band passed through.

Biggest central Florida concern is St John river area which expects historic flood levels.

We won't know the full extent of the damage to SWFL for days. It will be Andrew like
