I agree. If it has to be one or the other, I guess I'd prefer it to be Standard Time. I might have said something different if I were still living in the PRNJ. I always loved the extra daylight in the summer. But I hated the extra darkness during the winter. And a couple of years in the 70's, they decided to start DST in February. This, in an effort to reduce energy usage during the afternoon/evenings. I guess they figured there would be less used in the early morning than the afternoon/evening. The problem was, in February, while on DST, Sunrise didn't happen until like 8:15am in the NYC area. Quite freaky when you're waiting for the school bus in total darkness.

But, here in FL, the amount of daylight vs. darkness is much more even, winter vs. summer, due to the lower latitude. Much more tolerable a situation if we stayed with Standard time, and I do get some daylight in the early winter mornings.

It happened, we’re all still alive, & that same idiot is still in that big house that’s white. It’ll take a few minutes to reset my timers, but life goes on. Please remember to vote on Tuesday so we can slow down the madness that’s trying to ruin our country. GARY.
