Reducing VA benefits?

Someone please enlighten me where this worthless politician got this idea.
I have yet to see any Republicans politicians in Florida or the USA stating this should be done.
Below i have copied the letter she sent me, if anyone wants to give her a piece of your mind.
My suggestion to her was that the politicians and their families had the same medical and retirement package that the military have after serving 4 years.

Dear David,
Republicans want to cut future funding to 2022 levels, which risks a 22% decrease in resources for veterans’ care and benefits. Some Republicans seek even deeper cuts.
I wrote an op-ed with House Veterans Affairs Committee Ranking Member Mark Takano and U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio, an Iraq War veteran, explaining why we oppose this extreme MAGA budget plan. Our brave servicemembers don't deserve to face cruel funding threats at home.
