Re: New Ruger LCP Max

I just bought this gun today brand new today from a reputable chain store. After initial strip and clean I looked at the barrel it looks like it’s had hundreds of rounds through it. Lol. Is this normal. ? https://imgur.com/a/hZaRe8h Bring it back to the store and jack them them up about lying that ...

Re: New Ruger LCP Max

I paint the top of the hammer with bright white enamel so you can see it moving south as the trigger is about to break. Also True on the biggest LCP also known as the Security 9.

Re: New Ruger LCP Max

Interesting. It seems to be a higher capacity LCP. Not LCP2. The original LCP has a hammer. The LCP2 is striker fired. Many times while at the show, & a woman picks up a LCP, she can’t rack the slide, as it’s pulling back on the hammer also. But that same woman has no problem racking the LCP2. ...

Re: >Reliable< 380 pocket pistol

I'm on my 3rd LCP II 380 Extractor, a new slide and barrel. I installed a 13 pound recoil spring, stainless guide rod and next is the improved magazine spring. On the .22lr model, my firing pin broke, so Ruger replaced the parts...easy to fix. I installed the performance spring kit to lighten the fi...

Re: Mouse guns

For a serious defense cartridge alternative to hollow points, try the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense rounds.

Re: >Reliable< 380 pocket pistol

I'll more than likely keep both calibers of LCP II but until it runs in enough, I'd like a real solid player. I've been considering the Kimber micro as well and even the Springfield 911 but I hear it has the same break-in profile as the Springfield 1911 9mm I have (not great). Worried about more rec...

Re: Carry pistol for wife

Have you tried a Keltec p32? Perhaps their lightest and most reliable model.

Re: >Reliable< 380 pocket pistol

Frustrated with all the quirks of my Ruger LCPII. I've been thinking about a Sig p238 but recently saw a 1 year old Lucky Gunner review that panned the reliability of it. What in your experience is the most reliable 380 to operate that is smaller than the Glock or M&P models. What issues are yo...
