Always quality leather is my choice. I guess I’m old school. Some small guns I pocket carry, but not often.

Hard to get recommendations for a gunsmith/armorur if we don’t know what part of the state your in. Just a thought.

If you ever shot and Super Vel 110 grain loads in a chief special of the 1960s vintage, you would not worry about today’s watered down +P 38 specials.

The problem with a 2” revolver in 22mag is the blast will really hurt grannies ears. In my opinion a 22lr is better.

Personally I don’t see the need for a sight on a home defense shotgun. I’d much rather have a flashlight on it of some kind so I can identify my target. Then if justified just point and shoot. I mean your shoot in feet not yards inside your house.

I’m still using those green bottles of surplus sperm whale oil from WW2 that I bought at a gun show in St. Petersburg over 50 years ago. I guess if I ever run out I’ll buy something more modern.

The Bersa 22lr pistols are only reliable, In my experience, with CCI Stingers.
