I have been pulled over a couple of times in last 30 years or so armed. Never told the officer I was armed and never had a problem. Of course I was never asked to exit the vehicle (just speeding or doing something considered reckless), if you have no bad intent, just comply and keep your mouth shut.

I got it, or the measles (dad couldn't remember) back in the late 50s or early 60s.
Had a titer done when I worked for Mayo about 20 years ago, was sill good to go.

Did you run it allowing the water to flow or not flow? I have found the best way to prime my shallow well pump is to put my thumb over the hose end and alternate between blocking it until it builds up some pressure, then letting a little water out, then blocking it again.
