Re: Negligent discharge at WPB gun show.

Considering how many "uncontrollable factors" are in an average gun show I'm amazed it doesn't happen more often. I have personally witnessed 3 in 45 years of attending local shows. 2 were at the fairgrounds way back, one a .45 a vendor was handling and sent a slug into the concrete hittin...

Re: Lakeland Gun Show (Rifle & Pistol Club) // private sales?

We traveled 175 mi R/T and it was well worth the drive. Packed with folks, line to get in. Nothing moving much before noon, but then sold what I brought in half an hour right after the feedbag was emptied. Joe

Re: No need for CWP if you otherwise qualify

Just renewed mine in '24. 1st 2 digits are "88" so if nothing else it shows "trust when armed in public" for almost 4 decades. Don't need it for buying guns, I ain't and if I do the pawn shop is walking distance from the house. Joe

Re: Alico (Ben Hill Griffin) exiting citrus market

St Cloud was a "wide spot" on 192 going to the beach. Now it is 6 lanes of gridlock twice a day. Only thing that will slow the growth is a downturn like 2008. 10 years of relief. There is a limit to "other people's money." Citrus died in this area in 1983 when a hard freeze kille...

After round 2 Tyson had "$1,250,000 per minute" playing in his head. And yeah, it wasn't worth "free." Joe

2 things Disney ain't letting happen, ever:
1) Casino gambling. The Indians agree.
2) Open carry. So many tourists from Europe, Asia, who would stop coming $$$ if they saw hordes of armed folks.
Yes it's hot here, dress accordingly (shirts by "Omar the tentmaker"). Joe

Pocohontas has no working brain cells. "There's no Federal regulation currently and that makes no sense." What a maroon. Vegas gives this 30 to 1 against, i like those odds. Joe

Re: Trends in Gun and Ammo???

No stampede necessary but buying small amounts regularly beats waiting for a "market bottom" to lay in that metric ship ton. Friday's haul: $129, well $140 paying the .gov their vig. Joe
