Red Flag Laws ~ Florida ~ Results

Post by Allme »

Pretty scary. Be advised all of these people had to come out of their own pocket to pay for an attorney to have their right re-instated and/or have their property returned to them, this is a "civil matter" and they do not have access to court appointed attorneys. Be advised this "law" is cut from the same unconstitutional cloth as Civil Asset Forfeiture. True tyranny.

Under a Florida law passed after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, courts can issue so-called risk-protection orders taking away an individual’s gun rights for one year. They must find “clear and convincing” evidence the person is a threat to themselves or others.

Here are the orders each Florida county reported issuing in the first nine months of the law — from its effective date on March 9, 2018, through Nov. 30:

Pinellas county is one of the most anti gun counties in the state. That sheriff over there thinks that no private citizen should own guns. They tried to ban so called assault weapons several years ago. Until they realized they could not under Florida law.

Polk County...Grady Judd and his political ambitions nuff said.

The biggest question is how many got their guns back, how much it cost them to get them returned, how long did it take to get their property returned and in what condition was it in returned. Then the 64,000$ question, what if any consequences were levied against the accuser when the accused proved themselves not a danger.

Pineless county has had anti-gun sheriff way back to Everett Rice. Sheriff Bob has the same Ideas on open carry as Coats. Draw on them and take them down.
