All week NPR has been harping about gun control. All praise for DICK'S sacrifice on the alter of gun control.

Got to get that gun control rolling out. The pieces are in place: soldiers embedded with the caravans are here; the elements of the .gov appear locked; the police are ready to be the local enforcers/military expansion. It's all been a "Great Game", and not enough people even thought two moves ahead to see the current situation, even though the progress was obvious. In a new election the results of 2018 would be even worse. The votes were close enough that the demos could "correct a few errors" and we would have a governor gillum, ramming through their own agendas without opposition; the same in other close but otherwise free (and losing it) states. Something to say? YOU'RE A RACIST! and the "red flag" laws would be used in their full glory. Make your decisions now, but keep them to yourself.
Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a Single Star.

Agreed.

I would also note that should this possible 2020 Florida Constitutional Amendment pass, another timely "hard crash" of this board--irretrievably losing all previous posts--would not be the worse thing that could happen. But hey, that would be up to fate, right?

I would not count on "boating accidents" as a "get out of jail free" card.

Spectrum/BayNew9 had a townhall last night on guns and mass murder. Some anti-punk Smith and his boyfriend from PULSE were ranting on about banning everything semi-auto. Prominent in the 1st row three shills from MomsDemand, one got to make a speech in the form of a question. The panel was another PULSE survivor, a gun store owner, activist, and a female lawyer.
The opening salvo was a 20 minute documentary with a kid that was shot and paralyzed. Tattooed his torso from X-rays, claimed to be a gun owner that wants common sense restrictions.

All in all a real blast of hatred for Americans that want freedom.
