Reloading 32 rimfire

Post by indy1919a4 »

Came across this little item about reloading 32 Rimfire.. From looking at other places, the biggest negative is that the brass is a tad fragile and can be damaged.. that being said looks better than nothing..

Viddy well little brothers viddy well

32 rimfire rounds have identical measurements as 32 Colt.
A guy on GB will sell you 32 Colt brass with offset primer holes that take 22 blanks, and Bob's your uncle.
Much easier!

Neat, Have you reloaded these??? How well did they work..?? The brass in the article seems to be very similar.

I bought a dozen pieces of re-worked brass, they work fine, don't need much powder as the 22 blank gives it a little push.
Work your loads up slow, start with maybe 1.5 grains of Bullseye or similar.
Remember 32 Colt, not 32 Colt New Police, which is just 32 S&W long with a flat nose.
Colt just couldn't bring themselves to chamber a gun in a cartridge that said S&W.

I liked the guy in the link using the 22 short case as an ignition. Seems there will be no real pressure from that. And I think of you are shooting more older guns the black powder would be a better powder to use
