Buying at PSA?
Buying at PSA?
How long before the state of Florida sends out sales tax invoices on purchases?

Never. How would they find out? I don't submit my SSN to PSA.

They don't need your SS, only name and address. The state of Florida request purchases made by state residents and you get sales tax bill.Tenzing_Norgay wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 8:48 pm Never. How would they find out? I don't submit my SSN to PSA.
And why would PSA comply or be forced to comply with that request if it ever does happen?cvo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 9:04 pmThey don't need your SS, only name and address. My name is common and my address is a mail-drop. Good luck with that.cvo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 9:04 pmThey don't need your SS, only name and address. BTW, PSA has already complied with one state, and that state is sending out tax bills. If you have been buying out of state and not paying sales tax, it's your responsibility to send it in.
If you reside in a state with sales taxes, you were already required to report and pay 'use taxes' on your web-based purchases.

My point of this is, don't be shocked if you get a bill at your "mail drop" with your name on it.Tenzing_Norgay wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 9:36 pmMy name is common and my address is a mail-drop. You sound like someone who requires a bill of sale whenever they buy or sell a used gun to another private party...
