Looking forward to it.
It is the greatest spectacle in racing.
Well, one of them anyway.
When we lived nearby, My dad, brother and I went to every one.

Get up in the morning to Formula 1 in Monte Carlo, a break for lunch then the Indy 500, another short break then the Nascar 600 in Charlotte.
Perfect day for couch, BBQ, couch, LOL
And then, don't know if anyone watches the show Diesel Brothers, but Monday they're having a 2 hr special, with the first highlight is them giving away a specially modified all terrain camper truck. But the main feature is them LIVE on air, jumping a diesel monster truck OVER a flying airplane. They've been doing the buildup and calcs for a few weeks now. Actually in that one, I think the pilot has to hit a narrower window than the truck. His flight "box" is only slightly wider than his wingspan and his wheels will have to be just above ground level.

I'll tell you what rule we applied sir.
We applied rule 303.
We caught them and we shot them under rule 303!

YEAH BOY! ready for some INDY CAR action.
The 1st Indy 500 I ever saw was live in the movie theater in town. I was seven years old and the feed was delayed. My Dad was listening to it live on a transistor radio and telling me and my brother what was going to happen.

Lots of really great racing from the old brickyard.
Like when Jack Brabham introduced the first rear engine car to a field full of the old style roadsters.
That really woke folks up.
And Gurney and Clark finished the job in 1963(?)
Those little spidery cars whizzing through the field of soon to be obsolete monsters.
Indy might just really be the greatest.
Watching on tv might be convenient, but it doesn't compare to being there.

LADY & GENTLEMEN START YOUR ENGINES!
Good finish after the red flag.
