just another case of the prosecutor bringing a feel good unwinnable case at the taxpayer expense.
Police have no duty to protect. That was decided repeatedly long ago

If the government makes it illegal for me to defend my life, then the government has an obligation to go in and defend my life. And those that would enforce the law that stripes me of my right to self-defense are the ones that then should be obligate to go in to protect me.
They may have no blanked duty to protect, but in a zone where they take away my right to protect myself, they SHOULD be obligate to risk their lives to protect mine.
The world is what it is, nt what you want it to be
And in this world police have no duty to protect any individual.
I get it. This is being done because he cut and ran and sought anonymity in a foreign state away from the daily reports of his actions and where he will fade away into obscurity.
Now he will be front and center of a national trial and news story so his actions will be made fresh and known to his new neighbors
But if we cheer when the law is used for political expediency in this case, we can't complain when the same tactic was used in other cases, like Trayvon/Zimmerman.
It was a wrongful waste of tax dollars then and this is a wrongful waste of tax dollars now

And the shop owner with the NO CONCEALED WEAPONS should be held responsible too. They may have no blanked duty to protect, but in a zone where they take away my right to protect myself, they SHOULD be obligate to risk their lives to protect mine.

For that, I just choose to ignore. It is not backed up by the power of the State. That makes all the difference.
You know, it’s funny. I just never seen to notice those “no guns” signs some stores seem to put up. And when I do, well let’s just say I don’t. GARY.
Call me a cynic, but while it seems the cop's don't have a duty to protect anyone else, they sure seem to protect their own pensions?
Ah that's one thing about our Flame, doesn't play any favorites! Flame hates everybody!
