By "Hispanics generally" I mean other than those that fled Communism (Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans)--those are generally only a factor here in Florida. Glad we have them.

Sadly some states are giving drivers licenses to illegals. Then they have a legal ID and that opens many other doors for them. Our own poorer citizens can't always get the government services they need(health care for example) but we let illegals have health care and allow their kids to go to public schools which puts a strain on services and costs everyone with more taxes and fees(everyone but the illegals).

The only thing that I do see a little differently is that I am starting to see more African Americans leaning towards conservative ideals., if it will be enough I doubt it.

i think instead of waiting for the GOP to do something, we should engage hispanics as individuals. my wife is puerto rican and is 100% Conservative. she talks to other hispanics and friends and family in a way they can relate to and understand. sometimes it is as simple as giving people the correct facts while not sounding like she is talking down to them. i also do the same. i have turned 2 hispanic families i work with into pro 2A and voting 2A just by answering questions and taking them to ranges, gun shows and even just going to a gun shop. sometimes people just need a guiding hand. if we can reach one person and they reach another person, we can grow.
