Should I Red Locktite my buffer tube???
O ring won't hold up I doubt, and even using red as long as it is just a couple of drops is fine as a fair amount of heat will break it down.
o ring still holding strong on the hammer drill chuck/ weeks later......
I don't know but I would think it would depend on the O-ring, you would be surprised at some of the intense applications and hazardous conditions they use "O-rings" in.
ok, the O ring on the hammer drill was still working, but i replaced it because it was looking sad. how long was that? i think a 1/8" oring would work in your case...
i cant believe it wont work in your specific case if you modify the application slightly...its gotta work....
