Tell me about this Waltz guy, FSNers who voted for him. Does he not understand basic math as to the Senate and Electoral College?
Why is a FL GOP Congressman pushing PR statehood?

“Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance.”
I hope it fails again like every other PR statehood push.
And I can only assume he's doing it for wokeness points so browns vote for him when hes up for re-election.

"The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted."
I say cut PR loose, give them the independence they want.
They don't want independence though, they want to suck on our teat for forever so their island can continue being a quasi socialist shithole.

Yep. They have no desire to get off the gravy train courtesy of the American taxpayer.
All the more reason to let them go. I see no strategic reason to keep them.
I support the Puerto Rican independence movement.
Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a Single Star.
I feel like this-
1) give them independence right away OR
2) give them statehood and make them pay taxes just like every other American citizen.
Keeping them as is, is not good for the USA- It is basically is a colony (along with USVI, Guam, DC, etc)
The PR islanders need either get on the bus, or get kicked off it.
BTW- I am an American of PR parents...

They love that aid money.
Isn’t P.R. also a tax haven for U.S. citizens who reside there full-time?
The 6Th district runs from Just south of Jacksonville to New Smyrna Beach. I don't know what his agenda is, but in politics it's usually money.
PR already said no 2 Times I can't see spending money to argue about a 51 State. Waltz is up for re election 2020. He needs to go. I just don't see
any benefit to adding PR as a State. Time to vote up there.
