It's not the sheriff, it's county administrators who pass sanctuary resolutions. They have no legal weight, whether 2A or illegals.

When the Polk County Sheriff’s Dept arrests an illegal, they’ll call ICE to come and get him, according to public statements by Sheriff Judd. And, Grady may just take his underwear away.
