On a post on another forum, someone pointed out they have many AR's without sights, and at the very least the FAMAS and G36 are airsoft, cheap $20 plate carriers without plates, etc.

Someone equipped them with what they could get a hold of quickly to put on a show.

But really could you imagine if about 300 to 500 real militia came down off that mountain with real weapons of all kinds and humvee with gun turrents, M35 deuce and half trucks load with troops. Unload and set up defensive positions.
