The fact that charges weren't filed is irrelevant at this stage of the game. I'm concerned what judge would sign off on that search warrant in the first place, as it's an indicator of the police attempting to construct PC against them. If no charges are ever filed, they can get their weapons back, but as of right now it's "evidence".

I have read articles that said the Gov. will pardon if the couple are *convicted* (not necessarily *charged*). Still, the AG did file a brief to have the charges dropped. Perhaps, the gov. will issue the pardon if the AG's efforts to dismiss fail. We'll see.
