Beef Jerky
Hey guys,
If you are looking for good Beef jerky try this place he has other flavors of jerky but I like the original also it's not cheap but worth the price.

That place is a regular stop after hiking in the nearby Alafia Corridor series of trails. Good eats.
I've been ordering different kinds from Amazon every two weeks.
So far I really like Peoples Choice Jerky, you get a lot for the price and the flavor is good. It comes in big sheets.

I also like the Wild Bills Jerky's, a little salty but very flavorfull.

I'll have to check out Rick's next time I'm out that way.

In Sarasota, stop in at Geier's Sausage Kitchen on South Tamiami Trail. They usually have at least two or three kinds of fresh jerky made with quality choice cuts of beef (ribeye, sirloin, etc.) along with a huge assortment of fresh housemade sausages, brats, kielbasa, and wurst.
Get two or three packs of their landjager. It doesn't last long at all around here.

I got a Jerky Shooter for Christmas and think it's pretty cool. Looks like a caulk gun with a flat end. You mix very lean Ground beef with flavor packs, load it in the gun and it spits out inch wide strips that look like what you would buy for a premium. Just put the strips in your dehydrator and they come out great! Nice firm and tasty, I would never have guessed that it was from ground beef, totally outstanding.
you should send everyone a little for some taste comparisonOutgunu wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 2:34 am I got a Jerky Shooter for Christmas and think it's pretty cool. If you have a GFS (Gordon Food Service) near you, they sell 10-12# boneless lean beef knuckles for $3.69/#. I've been using it for snack sticks, summer sausage, jerky, and biltong. They sell boneless pork butts that I use for kielbasa and other sausages for $1.59/# - cheaper than Costco.
